On November 21, 2006, Lands’ End contracts Bent Media to build a “Hi, Santa” holiday microsite from scratch to finish in less than two weeks time. The site had to feature a Santa blog, a Story Workshop, a Coloring Workshop, a Scavenger Hunt and more fun and games for kids. The assignment included setting up and configuring a multiple server load-balanced environment, building out a Movable Type blog engine and creating the site itself. On December 1, 2006, Bent Media successfully delivers http://hisanta.landsend.com (Site no longer live).

Bent completes a micro site for Oreck that promotes a powerful vacuum and a powerful cause. Bent has developed three Apple iPod applications for consumer packaged goods manufacturers that allow consumers to download recipes to their iPods. This month, Bent completes an iPod App for TABASCO® that promotes “favorite guy food recipes featuring super hot habanero sauce”.

Pushing recipes and content to iPods allows CPG companies like Kraft to reach busy consumers while they’re shopping, helping them with menu planning on-the-go, mobile shopping lists and keeping a collection of recipes at their fingertips.

A joint partnership of organizations, including McCormick, Old Bay, Zatarain’s, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore, contracts Bent Media to create a public awareness campaign to educate consumers about smart seafood choices and preserving our ocean’s resources. The result is BeOceanwise.com.
